    Extrusion blow molding

    In extrusion blow molding, plastic is continuously melted, extruded through a shaping nozzle to form a tube, which is then brought into shape in a mold and cooled down. Multilayer or co-extrusion blow molding enables the production of hollow bodies with a multi-layer wall structure (up to 6 layers. Extrusion blow molding allows the efficient production of containers with volumes ranging from 5 ml (eye drop ampoules) to 5,000 ml (canisters) in smaller quantities.

    Injection blow molding

    Injection blow molding combines a spraying and blowing process in one machine. With this process, containers can be produced directly ready for use without seams with a precise neck finish, sealing area and consistent wall thickness.

    Röchling Medical uses the 4-station technology, which allows more complex containers to be formed from a variety of materials more efficiently and with higher quality than with the conventional 3-station variant.

    Injection stretch blow molding

    Injection stretch blow molding combines the processing methods of injection molding and stretch blow molding into a single-stage process in one machine. As with injection blow molding, the hollow parts are seamless with equally precise neck finish and sealing areas. In addition, the stretch blow molding process achieves higher strength with lower wall thickness and a higher surface gloss.
